Located less than two hours away from the Greater Toronto Area and just 40 minutes West of Barrie you will find the beautiful community of Creemore. Creemore is one of the three smaller communities that make up the Township of Clearview. Nestled in the Niagara Escarpment, Creemore is a rural community with small-town charm. Getting its name from the words “croi mor” meaning big heart in Gaelic, the community has come to be known as the little village with the big heart. Here you will find tree-lined streets and floral decorated roads, some of the best vistas, water features, trails, and forests.

Longstanding residents will describe the community as a quiet, friendly atmosphere that provides a strong sense of community. Single-family homes with Victorian-style architecture are a prominent property type in Creemore. In more recent years, the community has seen new development proposals roll in providing a bit more variety in housing types with a couple of condo developments beginning.

Hometown Creemore is a new condo and single-family home development by Alliance Homes. It’s currently under construction and has a total of 17 units. A second new development, The Brix by MDM Development is also a condo development currently in pre-construction and is scheduled for completion in 2023.

For families or growing families looking to relocate to Creemore, the Nottawasaga and Creemore Public School is the only local elementary school option. Creemore hosts a variety of festivals throughout the year. The community is home to the famous craft brewery Creemore Springs. The brewery is a huge part of their history and is the story behind one of their festivals. The Copper Kettle Festival which happens at the end of August is their most famous festival. The whole community comes together to celebrate the Creemore Springs Brewery. At the festival, attendees can enjoy brewery tours, tastings, delicious food, and activities.
