The Town of Collingwood is located on the southern shore of Georgian Bay and its natural beauty provides some beautiful views. For those that enjoy the outdoors, Collingwood’s trails encompass over 60 kilometers of recreational trails that lead to every major point of interest in the town and surrounding municipalities. The town plans to expand its bike routes, bike parking stations, and safe crosswalks to help promote active transportation and encourage more people to explore the town.
Lastly, there are numerous parks and beaches within Collingwood and surrounding municipalities to enjoy. Sunset Point Park is known for its rocky beach and incredible sunsets. There’s plenty of space to enjoy a picnic, there’s a fry truck on site, and many walking paths to enjoy.
