The Town of Bradford West-Gwillumbury has grown immensely in recent years and will only continue to grow in the next decade. Many smaller hamlets like Bond Head, Coulson’s Hill, Deerhurst, Dunkerron, Green Valley, Newton Robinson, and Pinkerton make up the town. Bradford is approximately 45 minutes away from the GTA. For city commuters, highway 400 can be easily accessed via highway 88 or County Road 27. Residents who rely on public transportation the town has two different bus routes to help them move about. The Crosstown route will bring you to the main center where you’ll find the Smart centers Bradford and both Around Town routes will stop through various neighborhoods either North or South depending on which route you take.

The Scanlon Creek Conservation area is a great place for bird watchers, hikers, and enjoyers of the outdoors alike. Spread over 530 acres you can observe wildlife or enjoy a beautiful walk-through nature along the many trails within. They also offer community education programs where kids can learn about the wildlife that lives there, the local impact of climate change, habitats, and fauna and flora.

The center of town is where you will find most shopping and dining places. The Smartcentres Bradford has a Walmart Superstore to fulfill grocery needs, as well as retail stores and a gas station. Located on Holland Street West is the Pink Closet Boutique which is a local clothing store that has a variety of fashion-forward clothing items and accessories.
