March Break is fast approaching and before you know it the kids will be home from school, and you’ll need something to help pass away time. Your North Life has created a guide to help you find some fun activities to do this March Break throughout Simcoe Muskoka.

Moonlight Snowshoe Fondue

The Moonlight Snowshoe Fondue is an annual event at Hardwood Ski and Bike. This guided walk takes you to a beautiful lookout where you can sit by the fire to warm up and enjoy a hot drink before heading back to the chalet. At the chalet you can enjoy a delicious dinner and have a relaxing evening listening to live entertainment.

Arrowhead Skating Trail

Skating on this beautiful outdoor skate trail in Arrowhead Provincial Park is the perfect activity to do this March Break. This 2-kilometre trail takes you through beautiful, wooded areas while enjoying nature and some fresh air. They do offer skate rentals so don’t worry if you don’t have your own and make sure you dress warm.

Simcoe Muskoka has a vibrant local restaurant scene so why not try out a new restaurant. Barrie, Orillia, Collingwood, Thornbury and more are known for their amazing local restaurants headed by award winning chefs that provide an exceptional dining experience for everyone.

Sweetwater Harvest Festival

The Sweetwater Harvest Festival is an annual event that takes place over two weekends at the Wye Marsh Wildlife Center to celebrate maple syrup. Take a gander around their arts and crafts market or take part in educational activities and demos. You can also visit the sugar shack to see how sap is turned into liquid and enjoy some delicious maple taffy.

Watch the Ski Cross World Cup Finals

See the globes best SX athletes compete at the World Cup Finals at the Craigleith Ski Club. This will be a great experience for all with many spectator activities and watching some of best athletes in Ski compete on a big stage.
